DETAILS

  • Registration: Free
  • Divisions: XBOX or PS4
  • How will players play?
    • This is a 1v1 Tournament
    • At a mutually agreed upon time between Home and Away players.
    • Players will play on their own console
  • Prize: Champions will receive a $25 Gift Card

RULES

  • Open to all current and former youth players, adult players, coaches, referees & club staff.
  • Players must use FIFA 20 only.
  • There will be a maximum of 64 players accepted per console.
  • Players will be placed on brackets on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Single-elimination tournament format.
  • Players will have 12 hours to complete their game (10:00 am - 10:00 pm).
  • Players may only select an MLS team to play with.
  • Players must play with the same team throughout the tournament that they selected while registering.
  • If a player uses the wrong team, the game must restart immediately or will result in a forfeit.
  • Competitors will need to add each other as friends on PSN/XBOX Live.
  • You must play your opponent through the Online Friendlies Mode, NOT FIFA Ultimate Team.
    • To do this go to Online -> Online Friendlies
    • All games will use these Online Friendlies settings:
    • Half Length: 10 Minutes
    • Controls: Any
    • Game Speed: Normal
  • If the match results in a draw, players will need to restart a new match with the “Golden Goal” rule. (First player to score, wins).
  • If a player other than you plays under your gamertag you will be disqualified.
  • Players are responsible to kickoff their match no more than 10 minutes from their match start time. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit.

REPORTING SCORES

  • Winners are responsible for reporting their match results.Failure to do so will result in a match forfeit.
  • Submitting your scores before the start of your match is not allowed. Doing so will result in a warning, match forfeit, or potential disqualification.
  • Cheating is NOT allowed nor is submitting a false match score. Doing so will result in a match forfeit and disqualification.
  • Photo or video evidence is required if you claim your opponent has broken any of the tournament rules. Failure to show any proof will result invalid.

FAQ'S

  • What happens if my opponent doesn't log in at the agreed time?
    • If a player fails to play his/her scheduled match will result in an automatic forfeit.
  • If I can't play at the agreed time, can I reschedule?
    • Players will have 12 hours to play their game. Rescheduling is allowed as long as it it within the 12-hour window. Players that don't play at scheduled time will be disqualified.
  • What happens if either player loses internet connection?
    • Unfortunately, bad internet connections do exist, but if both players can play their match, you will need to finish your game. Tampering with your internet connection to have an advantage in your match will result in a warning or disqualification.
  • What happens if an opponent quits or disconnets from the match?
    • If a player quits, exits or disconnects from a match regardless of the situation, it is the responsibility of the player from the opposite team to notify the admins for assistance to come up with a solution. Player that remains connected must provide a screenshot and email or text the admin prior to 10:00 PM.
