Allan James Memorial Scholarship Overview

Allan James worked tirelessly behind the scenes and was the backbone of CSA’s business operations for 25 years. He knew the ins and outs of the daily operations of CSA and his knowledge of the Association’s history made him a key decision maker in the Association. He also handled many other aspects of CSA, including, but not limited to: risk management, insurance, human resources, and grants.

In 2018, the Allan James Memorial Scholarship was announced, in which two scholarships are given to a female and male soccer player in memory of Allan James, with the inaugural recipients receiving the scholarship at the CSA Awards Banquet in January 2019.

The Inaugural Allan James Memorial Golf Tournament was held in 2019 at the Thorncreek Golf Course in Thornton to raise funds for future scholarship winners.
