Colleen Tyrrell and Justin Brells have been awarded the Young Referee of the Year award for the state of Colorado. Every year the Colorado Soccer Association and Colorado Soccer Referee Program awards the Young Referee of the Year award to those that have a strong work ethic, knowledge of the rules of the game and are positive role models. US Soccer Announces Next Dates for A-Youth and B Courses

The U.S. Soccer Coaching Department has announced the dates and locations for the next A-Youth and B course opportunities scheduled to begin in early 2018. The application window for these courses will be Sept. 7-22. Interested applicants should review the course details and pre-application checklist listed below. Colorado Teams Perform Well In National Championships

Colorado had three teams play in USYS National Competition, with GU15 Colorado Storm North 02 Girls Select winning the National Presidents Cup title, GU18 Arsenal Colorado Academy 99 finishing runners-up and GU15 Real Colorado 02 Girls Olympico putting in a good showing at the National Championships. The 2017 US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships, which will feature top teams in the 13U through 19/20U age groups, kick off Monday, June 19, with games running from through Sunday, June 25. State champions, Far West Regional League champions and select wild cards from the 14 western states will compete to be crowned the Region IV Champion and advance to the National Championships.
