There are a variety of clinics and trainings that are available to those eligible to tryout for the Colorado Select program and those that younger than the youngest available tryout age group (known as Pre-Select). The trainings and clinics are offered throughout the year, so check back soon to see what’s being offered!

TRAININGS

DESCRIPTION
The Colorado Select Trainings, formerly known as Elite Player Development (EPD) are designed to offer serious players additional training to compliment the training they receive within their club. It also serves as an introduction to the Colorado Select program, which has benefitted many talented Colorado players over the years. The emphasis is on individual player development, with specific attention to technical growth.

DESCRIPTION
Perfect for players trying out for the first time or returning players who want to continue their development experience in the weeks leading up to tryouts.  Emphasis will be placed on shooting/finishing, 1v1 defending, when and how passing touch, and developing confident and creative dribblers.  Colorado Select experienced staff coaches will coach the sessions.

Pre-Select Development Clinics

DESCRIPTION
As part of our new Colorado Select program, we will begin offering new Pre-Select programming.  Pre-Select Development Clinics are an opportunity for young, elite players in the two birth years prior to full inclusion in the Colorado Select program.  Players primarily born in 2010 will be introduced to and prepare for Colorado Select—a state-represented team of elite players.  Focus will be on technical skill development and skill execution within game-like and game-speed decision making activities.  We will spend time on shooting and finishing, 1v1 defending, when and how passing touch, and developing confident and creative dribblers.  Colorado Select experienced staff coaches will coach the sessions.
